To raise awareness of mental illness and support the Evan Allen Landry Memorial Scholarship
Evan Allen Landry (1984-2012) was a passionate golfer.
He played countless rounds at Hunter Memorial Golf Course, where enjoying the outdoors and friendship of his fellow golfers was as important as the game.
Tragically, Evan's life was cut short by schizophrenia, which was diagnosed in his mid-twenties.
The Evan Allen Landry Golf Tournament was created to honor Evan's life and to raise awareness of severe mental illness.
Tournament proceeds fund the Evan Allen Landry Memorial Scholarship in Meriden, CT.
The Landry Family has decided to not hold the Evan Allen Landry Golf Tournament in 2020 due to COVID-19.
We very much hope to see everyone next year!
